Are you kidding? There is a verb "to suck" (сосать, впитывать) and there is a noun "sucks" (отстой). And there is an idiom like "this sucks". So it's correct to write what I've written, not you.

Sorry to jump in here but the word "sucks" as used here can in no way be described as a noun. "Отстой" in the context used above is, in fact, an abridged form of "it sucks" and therefore retains its verbal connotations. At worst it could be described as adverbial/adjectival in slang context. An acceptable noun translation of "отстой" could be sediment, dregs or sludge which could point to something that is worthless as described by the clause "it sucks". The word suck as a noun does not, and never has, existed in English. Indeed the evidence of a terminal letter "s" denotes a third person singular verbal ending. Кстати, я англичанин!

It`s informal American English. No 'is' no 'a', I guess he said it right, but maybe 'AT this time...' is better. UPD: NO, I was wrong, 'in' is the Zombies song:

"Your English sucks" is the best phrase, to show what you mean, and "kind of", I suppose, is parenthesis. Plus the word "suck" is never used as a noun. Thus, U cannot not write it with "is" or "a".
